Jesse Anthony Duckworth aka J Anthony is a singer/songwriter, musician, author of 2 books, co-host for radio show, and praise and worship leader that desires to encourage, gather, and touch people of every race and nationality through his music. After having the opportunity to share the stage with Grammy Award winner Israel Houghton along with singing in places such as: Nigeria, Kenya, Russia, and Mexico City, he was inspired to reach out to the world with his musical gifts. J Anthony also has the privilege to be mentored in the art of songwriting by Derick Thomas who's an (EMI) Dove award nominated songwriter. His EP is a mixture of funk, pop, gospel, and soul which is influenced by some of his favorite artists like: Stevie Wonder, Brian McKnight, Fred Hammond, J Moss, Smokie Norful, Lalah Hathaway, and Israel Houghton. J Anthony has a sound that can reach all races and nationalities. The lyrics and music will inspire and encourage the hearer to praise and worship God. He's also a Vice Principal at the largest urban high school in my city and advisor for national mentoring program along with having my own mentoring program.
