Born and raised in Sweden, Jeanette Thulin Claesson is the daughter of traveling evangelists and has been ministering through music for 30 years. A musician from an early age, Jeanette grew up singing, traveling, and ministering with her family across Sweden and the United States.
Jeanette attended the Gothenburg University School of Music in Sweden for 2 years with an emphasis in Vocal Performance and Songwriting. She finished her Music degree at North Central University in Minneapolis, MN, where she was a soprano vocal major. While attending the university she was an active member of the NCU Chorale and Worship Live Worship Band that toured across the United States, England, Italy and Sweden.
Jeanette has served in the position of Music Director in churches and ministries across the United States; her passion for encouraging others through music is reflected in her dedication to being a worship leader, choir director, and vocal teacher.
A songwriter at heart, Jeanette started composing at the age of 12 and over the last three decades has worked with ensembles, choirs, and worship teams both in Sweden and in the US. To date, Jeanette's catalog totals over 250 songs, many of which have been recorded and are being used by different artists, churches, and choirs around the world.
Often described as soulful, heart-touching, and powerful, Jeanette's emphasis in songwriting is on lyrics and the importance of conveying the love of Christ and changing lives for the glory of God.
Jeanette resides in California with her husband where she currently works as Worship Arts Director at Harvest Church.
