Formed in 2010 Schock-Mathis band members Carl Schock (Bass, Vocals, and Keyboard) and Billy Mathis (Guitars, Drums)went into Crystal's Room studio in Benton, Arkansas to record versions of their favorite contemporary praise songs.

Those songs make up their debut album, Schock-Mathis Band which is due to be released Spring 2011. Currently writing for a follow-up, they continue to play with the Friends in Christ praise team on Sundays and special occasions.
