While the band endeavors to generate musical creativity, as well as inspiring songs, they also agree that aside from having a lifestyle of worship that is built upon the foundation of biblical truth, it's just a bunch of noise. And with a refined vision for ministry, as well as an unwavering conviction that our world is in desperate need of God's movement, The Outpouring knows they are responsible to do their part in bringing the presence of God wherever they go--whether it's in their own living room, a small restaurant, or in a crowded room of hungry believers.

The Outpouring believes that worship is the lifeblood for the believer--we cannot live without it! Therefore, the band's name represents the pouring out of ourselves as we worship God with our lives, and the reciprocal outpouring of Holy Spirit that takes place in return. The Outpouring is passionate about the kingdom of God, and bellieves that there is no time to waste when it comes to laying down our lives for the sake of Christ! As Acts 2:17 says, "In the last days...I will pour out my Spirit upon all people." Though this message isn't new, its implications are certainly contemporary. As we look around, it's easy to recognize that NOW is the time of the great outpouring, and we are in desperate need of God's Spirit as we fight the spiritual battles of today!
