Although 5 Second HeadStart is melded together through many different musical styles and backgrounds, the group is influenced first and foremost by Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, without whom we would be eternally lost. Musical herbs have come from many sources, of which Matchbox 20, Pillar, Kutless, and Breaking Benjamin would surely be included. All of these things, along with various other factors both claimed and denied, have brought forth the sound of 5 Second HeadStart: progressive contemporary Christian rock with an edge. Five members, bound by a common goal and desire: to spread the good news one song at a time.
