Divine Day has accomplished much in their 2 1/2 years of playing together. It took several months to find a consistent sound, but once that sound came together, it started attracting all kinds of listeners. Divine Day's approach to music is to keep a point of focus that analyzes how the audiences relate to the rhythm and structure.
In 2008, they won the Underground Fall Brawl Battle of the Bands, one of the largest regional battles in the country. This consisted of over 50 bands and 5 rounds over a period of approximately 8 months, and Divine Day swept the competition winning both categories of fan votes and judges scores each time they performed.
The band has played at Ichthus Festival on the Deep End stage and several indie stages, and has also made appearances at other festivals such as Creation Festival in Pennsylvania.
They have also notably participated and won many other regional battles, the most recent of which has given the band an opportunity to compete for a performance at Ichthus Festival on the Main Stage.
Having shared the stage with many accomplished bands, Divine Day is currently breaking the mold musically and stylistically as a group. They believe musical and lyrical excellence and how those relate to the audience should be at the heart of every performance.
