Beautiful Redemption was formed in early 2008,with just two girls, a guitar, and a microphone. Just two girl with a dream to sing and glorify God with their music.
The future looks bright for them, and Lauren,13 and Nicole, 12, are praying about possibly adding a 3rd girl to their band.
In a recent post from their Yahoo! Group, Lauren says,
"how are ya'll?
this summer Beautiful Redemption is working on new songs. My bandmate
Nicole and I have been working hard on composing and writing songs.
and we can't wait to share them with you.. we are possibly looking at
another bandmember.. please pray for us as we aren't sure whether it
is God's will for there to be more than two members. It just might
not work out .But we want our minds to be open to the possibility of
another girl to work with. It would definitely open up many new
doors for us .. So please keep us in your prayers . our newest song
is called "Hold On" and it talks about a girl who struggles with
insecurity, and she wants to trust in God, but she has a hard time
with trusting people , her self-image,etc, and she is on the verge of
giving herself away, and this song is God reaching out to her .....
A 3 part harmony would be pretty , so having another girl in the band
would be wonderful.... This girl can sing well , and she has had
experience. We are excited at all the possibilities.
After our newest song is polished, we will post the lyrics ASAP so
you guys can comment on it and tell us what you think. You guys are
soooooooo IMPORTANT TO US , and we want you to be involved and know
what's going on every step of our journey. we're in this together. On
behalf of Nicole and I , we thank you for your prayers and for being
with us. It's such a blessing for you guys to be involved in our
online ministry... Thanks !God bless you all!
In His Name, Lauren "
The story of the band's origin came from this saying:
"God pursues us in our restlessness, receives us in our sinfulness, and holds us in our brokenness." -Scotty Smith
"And so in this, God's love reaches out to us and we receive a beautiful redemption." says Lauren
