As a young boy of only five or six, Brian Haley picked up his first set of sticks and started learning to play the drums. His mom being his strongest advocate toward his drumming ability, Haley began to play at church and in revival meetings. So before he could drive, Haley had been playing the drums for a decade. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri he continued to develop his talents throughout his high school career by playing in the church choir. Haley was involved in a number of local bands such as St. Louis Community Choir and Youth on the Move for Christ. Outgrowing the local scene in St. Louis, Haley moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1997 to further develop his music career. As a new drummer on the scene of Music City, Haley's first few tours with artists such as Yolanda Adams and Bobby Jones were just the tip of the ice burg. From there, Haley will tell you, "the gates opened to so many opportunities, I am still so thankful." Playing with bands like Donnie McClurkin, Ben Tankard, and Out of Eden, Haley has more than most when it comes to touring experience. For the past six years, Haley has been the key character to a well known band called Diverse City. Diverse City is the band that travels with TobyMac, formerly of DC Talk. Never wanting to settle, Haley is working on a new project called Superhero.
