Camera Can't Lie may be a new name to the music industry, but with over two years of writing, promoting and touring, they are anything but amateur. Formerly known as Forgetful Grace, the rock quintet from Minneapolis, Minnesota has been performing under the new title since the summer of 2006. Love the Noise, their debut album received regional and national attention after being released independently in May 2005, aided by a national distribution deal with Smartpunk.com and backed by regional radio exposure and touring. After receiving label attention in 2006, the band enlisted the help of Grammy-nominated producer, Matt Goldman (UnderOATH, Copeland, Cartel) to remix their freshman effort. The remix of Love the Noise will be released under 7th Ave. Records in the fall of 2006. Camera Can't Lie has the immediate goals of constant touring and promotion, to intrigue listeners and create friendships with their fans.
Members of Camera Can't Lie describe themselves:
We are Eric Arjes, Josh Bendell, Kyle Lindsay, Tim Nustad, and Travis Stearns. Together, we create the rock band Camera Can't Lie. We are brothers pursuing a dream. Not everyone has heard us or knows who we are, but our music is everything - without it we would be lost.
We do not have it all figured out nor claim to. We cannot promise that we have been perfect or never needed second chances, but we will always love you more than ourselves. If you ever need advice or simply someone to talk to - no matter where in the country we may be or what small town we might be playing in - we are here for you.
We are strugglers, sinners, gentlemen, and fighters.
