Biography

Hello my name is Justin Wampler. I love music and have been playing for about 6 years now. I have never taken lessons for anything but probably should. My music is kind of a strange style. Most of the songs are about girls and experiences in my relationships. If you dont like love songs you probably wont like my music. Lately I have been trying to write more Christian songs. I have myself classified as acoustic, Christian, jazz. Well its obviously acoustic and some of it is Christian music. The jazz part Im trying to work on more. I really love jazz music and want to add that to my style more.

When I first learned guitar, in 2003, I started writing songs right away. So as you can imagine they were not very good at all, either way though I wrote a whole CD with in the first 6 months of playing guitar. Since then I have composed 6 CDs. It is interesting to listen to each CD and see the progress I have made. The last CD I composed, She Says She, was released in December, 2006. I released a mix CD with 20 songs of mine April, 2007.

My recording equipment is some of the worst recording equipment someone could have. For the last four years of recording I used a microphone from best buy that I bought for $10. This past year I got a little better microphone called the Blue Snowball. I dont have any mixing board or anything else professional. I just put the microphone up to the guitar to play and sing.

I have no plans of being a professional musician. I know that, that is not reality. I love playing music more then anything but there other things in life that I know are more important. Eventually when I get married I will play my songs for my wife and that will be better to me then any other show I could ever put on.

A little bit about me and what I like: I like basketball, cereal, the beach, listening to the piano, Italy, IHOP, traveling, my family, staying up late, sleeping in late, anything random, camping, playing cars, monkeys, penguins, playing music, soft carpet, caves that no one else knows about, stars, snowboarding, playing in the rain, acting, my 6 guitars, castles, building forts, wakeboarding, coloring, and the list goes on.

My Dislikes: Fake people, pumpkin pie, waking up in the morning, and school. Thats all I can think of right now.

Most of all, my friends, family and God are most important to me.
