Almost 7 years ago, Christian music was introduced to Chris Rice, an unassuming songwriter who spent most of his time with students and playing youth retreats. Chris established himself as a songwriter with hit songs recorded by Kathy Troccoli including "Go Light Your World" and "Hallelujahs." After Rocketown founder Michael W. Smith heard Chris' stunning ballad "Welcome to Our World," he responded, "If he even has one more song like that, he is the kind of artist I want to do a record with!" It turned out Chris didn't just have one more song as the countless list continues to expand with each new record.
Seven years, 10 No. 1 singles, 1 million sales and 4 studio records later, Chris continues to intrigue and captivate audiences everywhere. Short Term Memories is a must have collector's piece featuring two brand new songs, previously unreleased live recordings, videos and special packaging celebrating the first 7 years of Chris' career.

Have you ever just wanted to sit back in a lounge chair on your porch and drink a tall glass of lemonade on a sunny afternoon?
Well Chris Rice is just the guy to listen to for times like that, he has a sweet sound that just kind of takes you off into a different realm of peace and joyful noise. This CD is great, I haven't heard much of his other stuff but i really do like the way he sounds, its just so relaxing. Songs like deep enough to dream and cartoons just really set off the lemonade kind of feeling.

I love Chris Rice. His music is so awesome. He doesn't follow the typical cookie cutter cut out that most CCM artists do. This is the only complete CD I own by him and I love it.
