Of his new album, The Telling, he has this to say:
"One of the greatest things we share as human beings, universally, is the story of our lives: where we've been, what we've felt, how we've been shaped, changes we didn't expect, many we did, all leading up to where we are now. It is a story masterfully told, though more often than not, we feel like we have such a small part to play in it all.
It is these musings that have inspired this album. A story, if you will. An intimate look at where I've been. Spiritually, emotionally, relationally; pulling back the veil and laying it bare, not only for the listener, but for myself. My hope is that you yourself will connect; draw in to find pieces of your own story scattered among mine."
