Reason For Motion, Manic Drives fifth recording, and national debut, was produced by Hardin and engineered by Jamie K. of Thousand Foot Krutch. Reason For Motions eleven songs showcase the aggressive riff-driven rhythms led by melodic vocals that define the sound of Manic Drive. It was just out of curiosity that I picked up this cd...glad I did! These dude are pretty impressive musicians to be so young...I mean their lead singer was only like 18 when this cd came out!I really like Nebulous and Something More...but all of them rock!!!!!!!!!

Great Album | Posted May 19, 2008
This is just as good of a debut album as anybody could ask for. The songs have such a great message to them. The first song I heard was 'Nebulous' and I was immmediately hooked to Manic Drive.

Not incredibly unique, just a very basic rock sound, but with some rap and hip hop infused with it, so a little different. I actually thought their best songs were their slow ones, Memories and Tragedy, which are both beautiful and really well written. The lead singer has a good voice for that type of music, and overall I enjoy the Cd.
