They do it again...| Posted October 18, 2008
With this self-titled CD, Building 429 solidifies their position as one of the top Christian artists of this decade. Though "Back to You", "Overcome", "End of me", and "Bringing me to Life" are the powerhouses of this album, there really is no bad song on this record. Each song is well crafted; both lyrically and produced. The lyrics are deep and meaningful, and truly show how God's love and grace can transform our lives as well as how they can help us transform other people's lives as well. The guys of Building 429 do it again.
Now That's Building 429!| Posted October 17, 2008
I've got to say I've been on the fence about Building 429, the last album I bought was their EP. It was a great little EP ... and when the full version came out I didn't get it because it was missing songs from the EP.
I really wanted to like Building 429 but I only liked one or two songs off of their Rise album. Then they came out with Iris to Iris ... and I started warming up to them, but never enough to buy the album until now ... this self-titled album is what I've been waiting for! This is the Building 429 I fell in love with at Space In Between Us.
Not only are the lyrics better, deeper, wonderful ... the musiciality is amazing. One great example is, Always, Always ... the ending to that song is so affirmative. The strings soar, the bass is awesome ... the drums beat out the very emotion of what it means to hold onto faith in God no matter what may come your way. I love it.

This album was very pleasant to listen to. I was listening to it as background music. The voices were clear and you could understand the lyrics. I would not mind at all listening to this album again.
