From beginning to end, All the Lovely Losers chimes with a sense of exuberance and surrender, with a hard-won joy that can't be easily shaken since it rises inexplicably from every point of defeat.Collaborations with longtime friends and peer-fans like PFR's Joel Hanson, Sara Groves, Andrew Peterson, and Waterdeep's Lori Chafer, add additional sparkle to the disc. The theme of the album drives home one of the project's fundamental assumptions: that none of us are in this thing alone. We might be broken, but we're a community of the broken, bearing one another's burdens. Or, as Henri Nouwen puts it, we're all wounded healers.

Great introspective album| Posted June 17, 2008
Jason Gray's "All The Lovely Losers" kicks off with the beautiful "Blessed Be" which cleverly begins with the album title as the opening lyrics. One of my favorite passages in the Bible is The Beatitudes which serves as the inspiration for the opening song and album title. You can read them here: Matthew 5:1-12. Jason has a speech handicap and this song and album really speaks to how God loves us and blesses the poor in spirit, the meek, the lame, or to quote Jason "the losers", no matter what our circumstances.
The 2nd song "Sing Through Me" has a soaring chorus that arises from brokenness to lift praises to God. The bridge prayerfully says, "Be the strength inside my weakness / Be the song when I am speechless." "This Far", "Move" and "The Cut" are also standout songs. This is a great introspective album and I'm looking forward to more by Jason Gray.
See Him In Person| Posted November 10, 2007
Jason Gray's concert just blew me away. First off, I'd never heard of him. Second, I had never heard his music, so I wasn't expecting much. But much to my surprise, it was the best concert I've been to in a long time, maybe one of the best ever! Jason's funny, warm & friendly, relaxed, personable, honest and humble. I felt like I was hanging out with a bunch of friends in his living room having a great time. There's no flashiness or show or fakeness. It's raw, real and honest.
If there is any way you can go see Jason in concert - DO IT! You don't even have to know his music to have a great time. You'll be captured by his love for the Lord and others.
All the Lovely Losers really speaks to my heart| Posted October 19, 2007
This is a fab CD. Jason's lyrics are so powerful and not like anyone else. This CD is so on the mark for those of us who look inward and ask God to do the same and help us be MORE LIKE HIM! This CD reveals the HUMAN-NESS of a soul and how the Love of Christ makes one feel Wholeness that nothing else can. Amazingly wonderful CD!
