Co-written with Tyler Moody and Rachael Nemiroff, "The Light" is a deeply personal and emotional track inspired by SAPHIRE's long-standing passion for mental health awareness. Since the age of 13, SAPHIRE has been speaking and singing in schools across Minnesota, vulnerably sharing her own story of mental health and suicide prevention. The message of "The Light" is clear and compassionate–an honest letter of hope to anyone who may be struggling in silence.
"This song is incredibly special to me," SAPHIRE shares. "It's my letter to the person thinking about ending their life. I want them to know they're not alone. There is hope. There is light."
