Shaken contains 10 songs of worship that attempt to explain who God is through music. The title cut Shaken was written as a cry that we should be so shaken by God's love that we can't help but be moved to the next step in our walk with him. The album contains songs both co-written with Joel Engle and David Parker, or by Jeff himself. The other songs chosen were all powerful praise songs that have impacted Jeff as his relationship with the Lord has grown over the years. It was a gift how it all came together, from the people that were supporting the project prayerfully to those that actually played and worked on it.
