Curioso, my upcoming album under Wilder Woods, was a process of letting go and indulging in some of the more specific musical itches I've always wanted to scratch. I was able to work with some incredible musicians on this album. Producer Jeremy Lutito, engineer Reid Leslie, and co-writers Trent Dabbs, Ian Fitchuk, Konrad Snyder, Anderson East, and Foy Vance lent their immeasurable talents to this record. I even got Jim James from My Morning Jacket to help out too. I could not have given you Curioso without their help, and I am forever grateful.
Curioso is my own curio cabinet: a curated collection of the influences and experiences that have shaped me as a musician, placed on public display for the world to hear.

Wilder Woods Hits New Heights| Posted February 15, 2025 Curioso is Bear Rinehart's (singer and songwriter with NEEDTOBREATHE) third solo release as Wilder Woods, and my favorite of the three. The album is fresh and energetic. Each repeated listening brings out new elements of each song. Rinehart’s strong vocals are excellent as usual, and I particularly liked the guitar, drums, and backing vocals on the album. The album features a mix of upbeat, mid-tempo and slower songs, all of them strong. I list my favorites below.
Rinehart wrote or co-wrote each of the ten songs. The album was produced by Jeremy Lutito. Curioso is sure to show up on my best albums of 2025.
