"Thankful, Grateful, and Blessed," one of them said. Richard hadn't written a song in a long time, so when he saw that bumper sticker, he thought: "Okay, Lord, I get it!". He returned home and sat down at the kitchen table to write the song. Richard's wife shares, "When Richard came home and told me that he was inspired by a bumper sticker that he saw, I thought, "Oh no, he saw 'Let’s Go Brandon'"! But that wasn’t it, and now he has a wonderful inspiring song."
