"Before Me was written at the peak of the pandemic in 2020. We were only a week into the shut down, and I knew I had to sit down and write something that maybe the Lord could use as an encouragement to others. At that time I was reading Deuteronomy 1 when Moses and the Israelites were wandering through the wilderness after God delivered them from captivity in Egypt.
The Lord was leading them to a land occupied by a very strong and powerful people, but He promised them that they would succeed. The Lord was leading them in this journey of total unknown, and we know and can trust that the same God who lead the Israelites then is the same God who leads us today.
If God goes before us, then He's been here before us. He's seen exactly what this moment in time would look like, and so none of it is a surprise to Him. Whatever wilderness you are going through, God has seen it all. You don't have to be afraid. Trust Him to lead and guide you, because He has paved a way!" - Holly Halliwell
