Eclectically fresh | Posted March 27, 2008
TobyMac's popularity certainly hasn't dampened his eclectically fresh flair, as clearly exemplified by his release entitled "Portable Sounds". Some in the religious world have been rather "suspect" of his music simply because of his popularity and the popularity of his music. But there is no disputing that he has been able to integrate God's Word while defying musical convention. He has successfully experimented with various genres of music and created a pleasurable and inventive blend that can be enjoyed well into the future.

Another gret one from toby | Posted February 27, 2008
tobyMac delivers again! He never has a bad C.D. and this is no exception. He has all kinds of different sounds on this album which is what makes it so great. Also, I saw him in concert at Creation East, most amazing concert ever! If you have the chance, go see him!

Eh....Sounds the Same | Posted February 10, 2008
okokok, i like tobymac. hes good. catchy music. but its sad cuz he says hes a rapper but hes rapping much less than he used. this album was practically a rock cd. and another thing, this album didnt sound any different. same kind of tunes. the orginality is kinda of running out. watever tho, nice songs. still kinda worth the money.

tobyMac's 3rd solo album mixes the sounds of Momentum and Welcome to Diverse City into one great album.

Toby's Complete Diverse City | Posted January 17, 2008
Portable Sounds is the coolest album out. All of his songs off this album have been played over and over on my i-pod. All of the songs are my favorites but the ones I love the most are Boomin' and Feelin' So Fly. I recently bought the Deluxe Edititon and it has TobyMac's videos. People you've got to love this album
