Referred to by most people as "that stupid CD that you did with Tomlin," Too Much Free Time was an idea for which I take no blame. Chris and I spent a good deal of time together in college (we were even in a band where he played acoustic, Michael Armstrong played keys, and I played drums; we were not awesome), and during that time we wrote a few songs together. Mostly stuff that wasn't very good. We remained close friends for a few years after college, and one day Chris called me and said, "we should record some of those funny songs that we do." I said, "nobody will buy it." He said I was wrong. I was. Over 6000 copies later, people are still buying it. If you're looking for great worship songs like Chris normally records, or thought-provoking stuff like I usually do, look elsewhere. This record has one purpose, and one purpose only. If anyone can figure it out, let me know. In the meantime, buy one and laugh along with the other suckers who own it.
