For over three decades, CeCe Winans has graced us with her stunning vocals, heartfelt worship, and–let's be real–an awards shelf that probably needs its own zip code. She's one of the most decorated gospel artists of all time, boasting more Grammys than some people have socks.
But do we really know CeCe?
Well, wonder no more. Today, CeCe announced her brand-new project, The CeCe Whinings Podcast, a no-holds-barred, unfiltered glimpse into her world. (And no, before you ask, it's not just an hour of her dramatically sighing into a microphone. Probably.)
Each episode will feature CeCe alongside a guest female artist, swapping stories about life's struggles and the wild ride of faith.
"This isn't just about sitting around and complaining," CeCe insists. "Anyone can do that–I mean, have you seen TikTok lately? But let's be real, ladies. Sometimes, there's nothing better than curling up in your coziest sweats, sipping a hot drink, and letting it all out. And bonus: realizing you're not alone!"
Future episode titles hint at just how real things will get. Each episode will dive into a different struggle–well, CeCe's struggles, anyway.
The debut episode, "That Tour Lyfe," takes us behind the scenes of road life, which is apparently way less glamorous than Instagram makes it look. "Too Many Awards" will explore the absolute burden of receiving an endless stream of trophies (rough). And in "Hair and Makeup," CeCe will tackle the true battle of the entertainment industry: achieving the perfect balance of "glowing for Jesus" while still looking approachable.
The first season will be a humble 580 episodes long, dropping every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with bonus episodes on Tuesday, Thursday, and three episodes on Saturday.
"We've got a lot of whining–I mean, talking–to do," CeCe added.
Because sometimes, even gospel royalty needs to vent!
