You know what they say... the faster they rise, the harder they fall.
At least that's what Forrest Frank is experiencing after having to justify to his growing fan base why his last 72 songs were, in fact, sonically identical.
Fans and critics alike were stunned when audio analysis software discovered that every song followed the exact chord progression, drum pattern, and vocal delivery, down to the reverb settings.
The deeper inspection started after a Reddit User–aptly titled @ForrestFake72–ran Frank's catalog through a custom-built AI-powered music comparison tool. The results? A 100% match across 72 songs. "At first, I thought it was a glitch," said ForrestFake72. "But then I checked manually, and yeah, every song is literally the same–just different lyrics slurred in identical patterns."
Fans, however, were split on the news. Some were outraged, demanding refunds for concert tickets and questioning their entire Spotify Wrapped history. Others, meanwhile, defended Frank, arguing that his ability to release music at a breakneck speed was always suspiciously impressive. "Honestly, I respect the hustle," posted one supporter. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
After news broke, Forrest's team began to publicly break down. An anonymous studio engineer confessed the formula was not that hard to come up with. "We'd just type stuff like 'vibey summer anthem with chill gospel influence' or 'lo-fi bop that sounds like driving asleep with the windows down'–and boom, we had another hit."
But the damage was already done. Forrest immediately fired his producer and took to socials where he ignored the controversy and simply posted, "NEW MUSIC COMING SOON." The note was written in blue crayon.
