Musically diverse and innovative, 33Miles has a sound that immediately engages the listener with great vocals and memorable melodies while combining pop, rock, country and worship moments. From start to finish, listeners will catch themselves worshiping with this album while enjoying influences of Rascal Flatts, Casting Crowns, Keith Urban, and MercyMe. This debut disc from 33Miles features songs destined to become part of the fabric of the church.
Overall, what drives these three young men is the heart of the music and the message of God’s love and mercy. “We want to just love on God’s people,” Jason says of the group’s mission to encourage the church. “If we can come into a church and encourage people, build them up, edify them, then we will feel like we’ve accomplished our purpose.”

33 Miles incorperates a unique sound with tight harmonys. Look for improvement when they come out with another album. Normaly I am not a country music person but the country influences make 33 Miles more intreasting the the common music you would hear on the radio.
pretty good :)| Posted May 15, 2008
33miles does a very good job on this CD for it being their first one. If u like a more country sound, you'd probably like this! I especially like the song "Hold On."
Good Starter| Posted May 01, 2008
This album was referred to me by and friend and she thought that i should buy it because she did and she loved it so i took her word for it. I thought this album wasnt so bad but theres songs that i like and songs that really didnt cling on to me. My Favorite songs would have to be "Hold On" and "I Can't Deny" but others i liked were "What Could Be Better", "There is a God" and "Come With Me". Many of the songs just didnt catch my attention much. The album was pretty good but could've been better. So I would say not bad for a first album but i hope they do better in their next album...... Thier sound reminds me a lot of Plus One.
33 Miles Goes More Than The Extra Mile| Posted April 21, 2008
This album was a pleasant surprise with 6 or 7 of the tracks being ones I considered very good. My initial review mistakenly confused 33 miles with the new Mercy Me album. 33 Miles shows good heart and spirit content while maintaining your attention to good melodies, lyrics and message(s).
This album beats the typial ~3 good songs test and definitely recommend it to those who are unsure. Listen to a few 30 second clips and you'll be sold.
Too much country...| Posted April 01, 2008
I'm not a huge country music fan. I can only take so much. And this is a little too much...I would say I like about half the album: "There Is A God", "Stand Amazed", "Salvation Has a Name", "Hold On", "I Can't Deny" & "This Is Now" - shuffled on my iPod, though.

Great Album| Posted January 15, 2008
This is a great album by a great new group! Kinda sound like a christian version of Rascal Flatts. Some great songs. Definately a group you need to hear if you already haven't.
