i really like this cd. skillet can really rock out. and i don't even mind the slow songs either. it's my favourite cd by them so far.

"Comatose" is the only album that I own from Skillet, not to mention one of the few rock albums. But I have to admit this is a great album. From songs like the rocking "Rebirthing" to the more tender "Yours To Hold", "Comatose" is an infectious record that you will be singing long after you listen to it.

After listening to this CD, and later hearing Skillet in concert for the first time. Skillet became my favorite existing band.

Well, I may prefer Collide as a total album, I love Comotose, as well. In fact, the first three tracks are some of their best songs ever. I love Skillet, but this one exceeded my wildest dreams.

I'm going to have to say, this album is really good. The sound is very good, kind of edgy with lots of rock mixed in. 'Rebirthing' and 'Whispers in the Dark' are two of my favorite songs on the album and while I love the sound, the vocals are just okay. Don't get me wrong, John Cooper's voice is pretty good, just not my favorite. The messages in the songs are very repetitive and can get a little tiresome. Other than that, it's a pretty good album and if you like RED and Flyleaf, you'll probably like Skillet as well.

It's hard to top Collide, but Comatose comes close. My favorite songs on this album are "Last Night" and "Whispers in the Dark" Other than that, I get bored with this Cd quickly.

Even though I do enjoy most of the music Skillet puts out, I wouldn't exactly call myself a 'panhead'. However, with the release of "Comatose" I am one step closer to becoming a 'pan-head'. This album is a true work of art. I admire the way they sing with so much passion. Their lyrics are thought-provoking and strike right at the listener's heart. The music (guitar riffs included) keep you drawn in.
Some of my favorite songs from the album are: Rebirthing, Comatose, The Last Night, Yours to Hold, The Older I Get, Those Nights, Say Goodbye and Whispers in the Dark.
I highly recommend this album if you want to listen to some down to earth Christian rock!!!

When I bought this cd I wasn't sure if I'd love it forever or just listen to it a few times and be done with it.
Well... when I listened to the whole thing over and over and over for about 3 weeks, I decided it was good and had to share it with all of my friends.
I know why they were voted the greatest band of the year.
If you love the hard sound with softer touches and a good mix of male and female vocals, then this is a wonderful cd for you!

Every single song on this album is awesome! I absolutly love it! My favorite song is "Those Nights". He talks about his past relationship with his dad, and holding grudges against each other (The Older I Get), and about struggles that teens now-a-days have with cutting and fighting with their parents (The Last Night). It's just a really uplifting CD, and I love it.
