Todd Smith’s debut EP in 2012 is Your Friends and Mine. This EP is special to Todd because he has the opportunity to work with the extraordinarily talented harmonica player Dr. Paul Linden. Dr. Linden has shared the stage with blues icons like BB King and Buddy Guy. The EP was recorded at Mayors Mansion in Petal, MS. Todd and Dr. Linden decided to play live in the studio with the use of several specialty microphones instead of recording track over track because they did not want to lose the “energy” created when playing together at once. The EP also includes an acoustic rendition of the Ray Charles classic, Hallelujah I Love Her So. The songs on Your Friends and Mine are intended to take the listener through a range of emotions, thoughts, and ultimately reach the heart. With Your Friends and Mine you will want to relive the moment of these songs again and again.
