Leaning into the current trend back towards electronic music, "When this Day Ends" features guest musical contributions from co-writers Mark Siegel (Matt Maher, Capital Kings, Jacob Whitesides) & McKendree Augustas (Kari Jobe, formerly of Sonic Flood & Britt Nicole), & Jamie Miley (Ascension Worship), as well as guest guitarist Nate Bedingfield (Aaron Shust), giving it a significantly different flavor than the past two releases. The e.p. included alternate mixes of "When this Day Ends".
