Two plus two does equal four, but when The Taylors - two brothers and two sisters - are on stage or in the recording studio, the result is far greater than just the sum of those voices. "Measure of Grace" is the debut StowTown Records releases from The Taylors, the 2013 Favorite New Mixed Group of the Year. Since that Singing News Magazine award is voted on by the fans, it serves as a strong indicator of how effective their busy touring schedule has been to gain devoted listeners. That kind of momentum caught the attention of producer Wayne Haun, who had been following their career. Along with StowTown co-founder Ernie Haase, Haun signed The Taylors to the award-winning label and invested time in recording a project that would make a lasting impression on their current concert audiences and introduce them to new fans. This North Carolina-based family group has a continuing commitment to ministry, one that has been deeply engrained since the four siblings grew up in a home with a father who has been a pastor for decades, and a mother who has served as the church's minister of music. The Taylors learned to sing around the church piano, and that sound has endeared them to both concert promoters and radio programmers. New opportunities continue to open up for The Taylors, including a TV appearance as guest artists on Dr. Charles Stanley's "In Touch" broadcast, as well as international performances in the UK, Norway, and Sweden. Their new 11-song CD - filled with memorable original songs like concert favorite "I'm Committed to You, Lord," the tender "I Tremble," and the heart-lifting title tune "Measure Of Grace" - promises to be energized by both solid radio support and a strong concert schedule across the United States.
