Body Art is showing the world what art is, introducing to some, while presenting to others the creative genius that is God. Creation is a wonderful masterpiece, and the church is God’s workmanship, his poem. “I want to show the Body art,” Christon explains. “I want the Body of Christ to produce art inspired by the Creator, promoting the Creator. I’m just a color God dips his brush into to paint a particular part of his portrait.”
“I want the world to understand who designed them,” says Gray. “Body art is a common phrase associated with tattoos.” Being the permanent branding system that tattoos are, Body Art means to be more than just the typical mix tape. It is an album intended to reshape the way the world views the Body and the way the Body views itself. We are, as Christon puts it, “a museum of art; as you see it, you ought to see Him.”
