Description from CD booklet:
"THE JOYRIDERS utilizes the hottest contemporary Christian music in a touching story of three teens on the road. THE JOYRIDERS is a dramatic and heartwarming tale, yet frightening in its realistic portrayal of how people, young and old, have become alienated in today's society. THE JOYRIDERS is especially timely when the whole country is concerned with solutions for the violence that is sweeping the nation. THE JOYRIDERS stars Oscar winning actor Martin Landau, Kris Kristofferson, Shawn Hatosy (Outside Providence), Heather McComb (Party of Five), and Elizabeth Moss. Gotee Records and Norann Entertainment are proud to present to you THE JOYRIDERS Soundtrack."

How Do I Wrap My Heart For Christmas- Paul Overstreet
Thoughts| Posted October 16, 2012
This CD has a lot of beautiful, often soulful songs by some popular bands and artists. I like that the songs are often ones that make you think, or are otherwise uplifting.
My only criticism, as a CD, is that while each song is beautiful and awesome on its own, all put together they don't make for a cheerful CD- if you're looking for a CD to cheer you up when you're depressed, this probably isn't it, with the exception of the last track, which was quite cheerful and probably my favorite on this CD (which surprises me considering how much I like several of the other artists and songs, and that I usually don't love country songs).
But this CD is probably this way because of the movie- which is after all the purpose of the CD, and it doesn't sound very cheerful, so this total selection is probably excellently suited for the movie. Has anyone seen the movie- do these songs really add something to the movie in context?
