We Are The Remedy | Posted November 14, 2007
When I bought "Remedy" I came in with low expectations, but after a listen I was extremely impressed.

I was surprised that the band chose to begin the album with a slow song but it works well. "The Glory Of It All" is an incredible worship song, that speaks of what Christ gave for us that we may live/ For the glory of it all. "Can You Feel It?" shows up next with a message of sensing God's presence wherever we go. The first radio single, "Everything Glorious", is the third track and has a great hook with a worshipful chorus. The fourth track is "...neverending..." which speaks of God's unending reign. "Never Let Go" slows down the pace of the album and talks about God's great faithfulness; while "O, For A Thousand Tongues To Sing" is wonderful rendition of the hymn originally written by Charles Wesley. The seventh track is a straight-up worship song called "Rain Down", which calls for God's love and grace to rain down on us. "We Won't Be Quiet" quickens the pace with a call for the church to never stop worshipping. My personal favorite is the title track "Remedy", which is a beautiful song about Christ being the remedy. It also challenges believers to bring the remedy. The album ends on a soft note with "Surely We Can Change" which stays with the theme of the album of the church bringing the cure.

If you are a fan of the David Crowder Band even if you're not you should give "Remedy" a shot.

Great Album! | Posted November 12, 2007
After the A and B collisions, I wasn't sure what to expect out of the remedy. But this album proved to be on of David Crowder's best. Love it!

While this album may not be my favorite DCB, it is solid from beginning to end, with some deep, powerful music. I love the complexity of the writing, the music and the message to which all songs are directed. DCB really keeps the focus on Christ.

The best in modern worship | Posted October 14, 2007
I dont think I need to say much here. Chances are you have probably heard of this critically acclaimed band and how their music is far above most of the cookie cutter worship music available out there. This for the most part is a true assesment. If you haven't checked out this band yet then you should and see what all the hype is about.

This new album only has ten tracks but it still manages to be a musical masterpiece. From the pinao ballads to the upbeat songs layered with guitars and elcetronic beats this album takes you on a wild and enjoyable ride from start to finish.
It's a pleasure to worship and praise God when the music is this good and the lyrics are so intropective. Simply put this is a must have worship album.

Remedy review | Posted October 01, 2007
Although much mellower than previous CDs, this one still hits you on a deep level. "Neverending" is probably my favorite song, followed closely by "Glory of It All". Listen carefully to the lyrics - they carry heavy weight to them, as do all of the songs by Crowder. It's amazing to see how well the band pulls it all off each and every time they release a new album.

This record is INSANE! | Posted September 26, 2007
2 tickets for the remedy tour...$70.00,
1 remedy cd....$11.00
Listening to to this amazing worship rock experience....Priceless

That's basically all I can say about this amazing new cd. Musically and lyrically this album hits a whole new level of insaneness. My favorite songs on the album are...well all of them. I wish I could give this cd six stars because it is just above the rest. The new version of "Rain Down" is amazing and I believe it will be a huge radio hit.
