I don't often say this about fiction, but this book really had me reflecting on my prejudices and preconceived notions. The compassion that is shown through the love of a man for a wife who keeps running away is such an illustration of God's love for us. This book taught me to give people a chance, to make that extra effort to see them as God sees them.
