Colleen McKenna is a rare combination of an old soul and a young heart, perfectly expressed through her bright, resonant vocals and evocative storytelling. Her big dreams and fearless ambition carried her beyond her hometown in Ohio and landed her in Nashville, TN where she found her sound among the classic country music she was raised on. Moving straight after highschool, she quickly established herself in Nashville, regularly hosting writers rounds at the legendary Listening Room Cafe, and writing 2 lead singles, “Leaving a Little” and "Bloodstream” for the Ryan Waters Band album. At just 20 years old, McKenna's writing style is wise beyond her years, as she sings about love, heartbreak, and loss while keeping her faith at the center of it all.
McKenna’s artistry has explored various spheres of the music industry collaborating with RC Music Collective and Kayrós to co-release Christian worship projects including her solo-written songs, “Revival”, “Gethsemane”, and “Reason to Trust”. She has also independently released 2 country music projects of her own: Rewind in 2022 and most recently, Broken Record in 2024. McKenna’s recent single “WWJD” found immediate Tiktok virality, merging Christian and Country genres and opening a new chapter of music that speaks to the human experience and glorifies God. Colleen McKenna’s music is versatile, yet deeply relatable to many and has taken her on tour nationally and internationally to Mexico, Italy, and on countless mission trips. She looks forward to continuing her consistent releases in 2025, and telling stories through her music that build a bridge between the churches, bars, and festivals alike.
