Violet blend is an alternative / Gothic rock and metal band from Florence, Italy. Formed in 2014, they consist of Giada Celeste Chelli on lead vocals, piano and orchestration, Michel Agostini on drums and vocals, and Ferruccio Baroni on bass and backing vocals. Guitarist Daniele Cristellon left Violet Blend in 2022. The band members also conduct musicology research, having earned degrees or otherwise teaching as faculty at prestigous higher education institutions in Italy. In 2022, they founded a campaign, The Mobile Woman, against gender discrimination and gender-based violence.
