Michael Feighan is preparing to step out on the world stage as a solo artist next month, with his upcoming new project, Someone Prayed. With his honed music skills as a singer, songwriter and drummer, Michael has brought together a stellar team for the new EP that displays a vocal delivery that is once crisp and edgy, while transitioning to mellow with a bit of grit. However, Michael’s passion for this record comes from his strong faith, with his musical messages of hope and redemption for a healing world.
After working on his music career following high school, Michael ended up in San Diego and heard that the Christian Metal band, Whitecross, was auditioning musicians. The rest is music history, as Michael joined the band and became one of the top 10 drummers in Christian music. Whitecross traveled around the world and the group was honored with three Dove Awards for Triumphant Return, In The Kingdom, and Come Unto The Light. The array of Michael’s talents comes full circle with his new project, Someone Prayed, which is scheduled to release on October 15, 2021.
The outstanding team working with Michael on this musical journey includes producer Matt Bissonette (Elton John, Ringo Starr), drummer Gregg Bissonette (Ringo Starr) and five-time Grammy®-winning engineer, Chris Lord-Alge (Bruce Springsteen, Tina Turner, Tim McGraw). The first single, “I Still Believe,” is a patriotic song that honors our military and fulfills Michael and his dad’s deep love for our country.
