After years of learning an immeasurable amount about music, ministry, and life, Allan released his debut worship album, titled “Face To Face” in May 2019.
Born two months premature at 900 grams, with under developed lungs, doctors told Allan’s parents he would not survive. Today he is a living testimony that God has other plans! Miraculously, Allan has been involved in the worship ministry for more than 12 years and is currently a Worship Pastor.

With his years in worship leadership roles Allan knows that people listen to worship music that they themselves can relate to, songs that can carry them through changing seasons. “That was my main purpose of the album, not to simply release an album that sounds good, for marketing purposes. And if it meant me being raw and vulnerable, then so be it.” Says, Allan.
Allan is eager to share his album, packed with lyrics written in a season during significant moments in his walk with God.  “Face to Face”, is the title track in its chorus says “I am not going anywhere, until I see You standing here, take me deeper into You, You are all I desire.” “Ultimately, that is the goal of worship, it is the moment we all live for, being face to face, saying “God I am not going anywhere unless I know you are with me”, “God I am not moving until I know you are here”, adds Allan.

“The theme of Face To Face is my cry for every worshiper, regardless of what they face, what circumstance is weighing them down, what is happening around them when you get into worship, the response should be “I am not going until God shows up’”, says Allan.
Husband to Taryn and father of 2, Teagan (6) and Bryan (1), Allan is looking forward to what God is about to do and the people that will be touched through his music. “Having the opportunity to create an atmosphere for people to ENCOUNTER GOD with worship music, has always been an honour for me. You only need to get someone into the presence of God for a second for their lives to be forever changed… if that’s what my worship can be to the listener, I’ll be forever grateful!”.
Allan Van Niekerk leads worship at his local church in Centurion, South Africa, he conducts worship events, works with worship leaders and worship teams. His album will be available on all digital music outlets swell as selected stores.
