Josh Ross was born in Troy, MI and became passionate about music after seeing a production of Joseph And the Technicolor Dreamcoat in middle school. He became determined to learn to sing and play guitar. Josh loves to inspire and connect with people through music. His songs employ memorable melodies, meaningful lyrics, and jazzy smooth vocals reminiscent of Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson. His songs blend genres ranging from acoustic folk to piano ballads to southern rock.

Josh has performed throughout Michigan, the U.S., and internationally in Mexico, Italy, & Poland.  In November 2014, Josh released his Debut CD, "All There Is".

Josh currently leads the B.A.S.I.C. Band (Brothers And Sisters In Christ) at St. Anastasia Church in Troy. His faith in Christ greatly impacts his music and his ministry. In April 2016, Josh & the B.A.S.I.C. Band released a new CD "Always Loved. Always Welcome" featuring the most requested praise and worship songs they play in church. 

In January 2017, Josh will release his second solo album, Love Never Fails. This album is not just about music. It is part of a movement to create a more compassionate culture of mutual understanding. Every song on the album can be played at a wedding, since weddings tend to be the single largest gathering of people who come together for love.
