Blank Pages is a Christian pop rock band on a mission to share their faith and encourage others with their positive and uplifting music. They began early in 2006 as a group of friends from Indianapolis, IN wanting to start a rock band, with hopes and dreams of it becoming a future career. Although many obstacles have been thrown in the way, the band has persevered and has grown spiritually and musically. As the members made their way through high school, they focused on becoming more of a ministry, rather than just a typical band. They eventually came to the conclusion that the only reason they wanted to be in the band was to share their faith with others through their music and testimony. Songs such as "Always" and "Guide You" share personal testimonies within the lyrics about how God has worked in the lives of Jacob Rush and Daniel Deputy, who both sing and play the guitar in Blank Pages. Other songs, such as "Everything and More," "Motivation," "Reach for the Stars," and "Cross That Line" encourage others in various ways to live a life that God had intended for. The songs also tell others not to believe the lies of the world. David Deputy, drummer for Blank Pages, stated, "Our ultimate goal as a band is to reach out to people who do not have a personal relationship with God and show them that He offers a love far greater than any other."
Growing up, Blank Pages was greatly influenced by different pop, punk, and rock bands of the 2000's. The band is now on a journey to create their own unique sound. With a very serious side of the band also comes a humorous side as well. Tyler Cherry, bassist of Blank Pages, said, "Being in Blank Pages is an experience like none other. Between the shows and the long, crammed drives spent in the van, there's always room for a good time and a lot of laughs." Since 2010, the band has performed for thousands of people all around the country at festivals, churches, camps, and venues of many sorts. The band has been touring on and off since 2011 and plans to continue touring going into the future. The band has also been recording songs over the years. Every song has been written by the band. Songs such as "Goodbye," "Guide You," and "These Memories" were recorded in Louisville, KY with Michael Sanders of Jetlag Recordings. A music video was shot by Green Sky Media for the song, "Goodbye", which was released in the fall of 2011. Later on in 2012, the band recorded the song called "Cross That Line" in Nashville, TN with producer Mark Lee Townsend. Another music video was recorded by Green Sky Media for the song "Cross That Line." With all of the success over the past years, the band has given the glory to God. Daniel Deputy, singer and guitarist of Blank Pages, stated, "Without God, we would not be where we are today. He has taken us on a journey and we are just enjoying the ride."
