Singer/songwriter Katie Heath is blessed to do what God created her to do each day: make music for Him. With her warm, rich vocals and signature soul-pop style, Katie shares songs about life from a Christian perspective. Katie’s engaging live show is already generating buzz for her new EP Square One.
In addition to her distinctive vocals, Katie is known for the depth of her songwriting and the transparency she brings to her music. Katie loves crafting her personal experiences and struggles into songs with a universal message, and she strives to be an encouragement to her listeners.
"My heart is filled to overflowing when I see my songs make a difference," Katie says. "Making an impact for God fulfills me in a way that I can't even describe."
Katie has lived and breathed music since her earliest memories. As a teenager, Katie began working with music industry professionals in both the Nashville and Philadelphia areas. By the time she graduated high school, Katie had already competed in nationally-televised competitions such as Trinity Broadcasting Network's Exalting Him Talent Search and Christian Artists Talent Search on The Inspiration Network.
After spending her college years developing her artistry at Belmont University, Katie has taken the big leap and launched her career as a Christian recording artist. As her young career continues to gain momentum, Katie looks to God for guidance every step of the way: “I am so happy and blessed to be going on this adventure with the One who made me,” Katie says. “Being a light for God is the reason I make music, and that’s all that really matters.”
Katie thanks God each day for gifting her musically. She knows that without Him, none of this would be possible. Katie feels abundantly blessed to have such a BIG God working in her and through her - and she wants her listeners to know that God wants to use them for His glory too.
"There's a line in one of my songs that says to God, 'For impossible is nothing to You,'" Katie shares. "Whenever I sing those words, I'm inspired to go out and take on the world for God. With Him, the sky's the limit. I hope others who hear my music feel that way too, because God has an amazing plan for each one of us."
