Connersvine has an acoustic-driven rock sound that communicates through worshipful melodies and passionate vocals. Made up of Chris Wilson and Hunter Smith, this acoustic duo's fervor for the glory of God can be heard through their music, both recorded and live, sometimes on their own, and oftentime with a full band. Raised with a great appreciation for music, Chris Wilson began playing guitar at the age of ten and already helping on the worship team at his local church by the time he was in middle school. Through his passion for both God and musical expression, Chris has continued to develop his skills as a musician, songwriter, artist, and worship leader. Born and raised in Sherman, Texas, Hunter Smith has shared the same passions, as well as a talent in football. Hunter Smith graduated from Notre Dame and went on to be drafted in the NFL by the Indianapolis Colts. Hunter is now approaching his eighth season with the Colts, providing him with a great platform to share his faith with others. In the summer of 2001, Chris and Hunter began their friendship by leading worship together for a young adult ministry on the Southside of Indianapolis. As they began to feel God calling them into music professionally, they focused on their song writing and worship style. As they pursued God in their music, they developed a burden for teaching individuals how to connect with God through worship. Throughout their journey, Connersvine has kept their passion for Gods renown at the heart of all that they do. As they continue to write new songs and challenge themselves in worship leading, God has poured out his creativity through them. They believe that God, the Greatest Artist, is the inventor of creativity and as believers we have direct access to the Father of creativity through worship. As a result, they feel that their purpose is not only to write songs as artists but also to write songs to be used by the Church for corporate worship.
