Born in Florida, raised in Virginia, hip hop and contemporary song writer/composer, youth leader, and C.E.O. of Kingdom World Records Joshua Mitchell a.k.a. Hollywood Holly offers a new and a refreshing sound to both the hip hop and the alternative community with hooks that get stuck in your head.

Hollywood Holly has performed/ministered at events with Skillet, Newsboys, David Crowder Band, Group 1 Crew, KJ-52, B-Reith, G.R.I.T.S., Canton Jones, Da T.R.U.T.H., Show Baraka, Trip Lee and many others.   

It’s been said that his songs are motivational.  He writes songs about the love of Christ and other topics that this generation deals with such as suicide, marriage, sex, materialism, depression, peer pressure, unsaved loved ones, and betrayal just to mention a few.  He illustrates true life stories in his music and he adds the word of God in his verses to bring light and truth to the circumstances that are being addressed in his lyrics.

Joshua and his wife, Rosvie enjoy watching Chopped and Iron Chef America on The Food Network Channel.  Their favorite board game is Monopoly.
