The new release by Ryan Long "Arise" is a labor of love created along with good friends and fellow artist including: Mark Wagner, Drew & Ellie Holcomb, Scott Cash, Andrew Osenga, Ben Shive and Gabe Scott. Produced by Ryan's most favorite musical companion, Young Life artist Mark Wagner, "Arise" was created from start to finish with a very highly defined focus. "The idea from the very beginning was to create a gift for 3500 high school friends to take home with them from their week Young Life's Frontier Ranch this summer" explains Ryan. A tight knit group of Ryan's friend invested a substantial amount of capital to accomplish this mission. "These kids are spinning this CD in their cars right now...I can do nothing but smile about that" says Long.

Ryan grew up in East Tennessee and has stayed. His grandfather was a “folk” singer who combed the Appalachians collecting songs that he would later sing and play for various audiences. Now, Long carries the gift with him as he goes.

Long has sold over 60,000 of his 4 recordings independently and another 40,000 songs on itunes. He performs nationally for over 15,000 high school students each year. The majority of his work is with Young Life, a global non-profit mission for kids.
