Hans Raubenheimer (sometimes known as "hansmusic") was born and raised in Bloemfontein, South Africa with very little musical training. It was only on his travels through the United Kingdom and Europe after investing in a folk size acoustic guitar inspired by the likes of Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan and Bob Marley that the creative juices really started flowing.

He wrote his first song in 2000 and since then as Sting put it many children have been raised and he's maternal instincts have kicked in, drawing influence from guys like Jack Johnson, Dave Mathews and John Mayer his melodic rich and fresh clean sound combined with mature poetic lyrics grounded in his Christian Faith is set to be a recipe for success.
