As Thalon drove across country to Los Angeles with their 4-song demo in the summer of 2004, there was a silent, confident expectation that something bigger than them was about to happen. The unfolding plot of three guys with a dream and a passion that would take them from small town Alabama to Hollywood would begin a story that only their music would upstage. Working with Nashville producer/artist/writer Scott Fair, (co-writer on cuts off every LIFEHOUSE project), their music took on a life of its own as it meshed and melted each band members musical style and love of music in a way that defines Thalons sound today.
Austin Childress, singer/guitarist; Jeremy Springer, bassist/background vocals; and Wesley Springer, drummer, grew up together playing music. As they arrived on the west coast, they each secured jobs in L.A. and rented a studio in Burbank to rehearse nightly so they could grow as musicians, and grow tighter as a band. After signing a development deal, they began to write and record new material that has stretched their talent and sound to encompass the unique vocal prowess of Austin with the lively and raw talent of Jeremy and Wes.
Ready to take their sound on the road, Thalon is anticipating performing live dates with a studio EP produced in support of a grass roots tour that will surely wake the sleeping giant of those ready for fresh, innovative music. Rare is the occasion to find three guys as dedicated to a dream, fixed on a goal, and committed to a vision, as Thalon. Given the opportunity, Thalon will change the formula for mixing pop and rock music and invade a genre of music listeners as they sing and play their way into a music culture only saved for trailblazers and pioneers.-(purevolume.com)

Thalon is an up and rising band that is still way underrated. Their music incorporates a fresh sound that will no doubt be on the forefront of tomorrow's music. Their passion is amazing and the cry of their heart is that "We would live our lives fully alive and throw off anything that gets in the way of doing so." This is Christian rock.
