Shake the Nation is a movement-- a sonic expression of what God is doing through Bay Area Fellowship and Bil Cornelius Ministries. Shake the Nation represents a passionate purpose and deep desire to live for something much more transcendent than this world. We are changed people with a common cause!
We remember our Egypt and those who are still there. We exist to rescue the hurting ones, uplift the saved ones, and to exalt the only One!
We perform every week in front of our congregation at Bay Area Fellowship in Corpus Christi, Texas (8,000+ people). Even though our city is named after the very "body of Christ", we relish in the honor and privilege to bring the "unchurched", the lost, and the broken, to Him through worship. Our congregation is comprised of the wealthy and those struggling for their next meal, the healthy and those leaving crack pipes, heroin needles, and pornography in our offering buckets, those who are saved, and those who are not-- and it is our honor to witness God turning lives inside out for His glory.
This message of love and pursuit of change is inspired by our Pastor, Bil Cornelius, who has developed a exponential television ministry with over 150,000 viewers. Shake the Nations' music will be added to the television program after the release date of the album. We are also planning to be apart of our Pastor Bil's exciting upcoming book tour with his latest book, I Dare You to Change. Anticipating big things from an amazing God, we will earnestly await the plans He has in store, but for now, we'll proceed to shout His name, and Shake the Nation.

There's not a single wasted moment on this album. Each track inspires me on some level to lay aside earthly pursuits and give my all for His kingdom. The gospel of Jesus Christ is clearly this group's utmost priority, and they share it well. God will be using Shake The Nation to reach thousands for His glory through the songs He's given them, and I can't wait to watch it all unfold!
