Never Grow Weary is the self-released debut EP from the emerging Arizona artist, Emmaus. It features smooth and free-flowing melodies contrasted with lyrics of personal sacrifice and yearning to experience and share God's love in the fullest way possible. Starting with the upbeat and resilient reflection of Christ's followers in "Disciple For You", Emmaus takes the listener through ultimate sacrifice of self in the presence of Jesus via "At the Foot of the Cross". Followed by the intense building and sonorous refrain of "You Are Holy, Lord", the EP takes a drastic turn for simplicity and we experience the raw and exposed fears and failures of a single person being reminded who they are in God's eyes through the song "Child of God". The ending track, "Holy God, We Praise Thy Name" retains this sacred simplicity through the reciting of a traditional Catholic hymn. However, Emmaus returns us to the present with their own original chorus line and booming end, followed by meditative and thought-provoking guitar lines, allowing us to unwind and focus on our connection with the Spirit.
