Something To Say [edit]
by Matthew West | Genre: AC/Inspo | Release Date: January 15, 2008

With several huge radio hits under his belt, Matthew West is one of Christian music’s fastest rising stars. Ubiquitous songs like "Only Grace", "More", and "Next Thing You Know" are proof that Matthew knows how to write massive songs that connect with the Christian music listeners right on the bull’s eye. On his third album, Something To Say, Matthew explodes with even bigger songs of passion and lives lived for Christ. The album’s lead-off single, "You Are Everything", has had major impact at Christian radio, and Something To Say is full of hits destined to keep it a mainstay on the charts.

Matthew West | Posted September 23, 2009
I haven't heard this whole album, but they play You Are Everything and The Motions all the time on WAY-FM, a great Christian station. I like you are everything but the motions is kinda annoying

Matthew West Keeps Getting Better | Posted September 14, 2009
Matthew West is one of my favorite artists and for any of you who liked his old stuff he goes above and beyone on this album. The songs "motions" and "something to say" are very uplifting and inspiring songs telling you to live each day to the fullest. This is a great buy for christian music fans.

One of my Top 5 Album's of All-Time | Posted September 14, 2009
My buddy and I made a list of our top five albums on our iTunes, and Something To Say was in it for me. You are Everything is one of the most amazing songs I've ever heard. It's great lyrically. All The Broken Pieces is easily the most under rated songs on the album. It touches me everytime I hear it. I strongly recomend this album to anyone, of any style preference.

Solid Pop ALbum | Posted September 03, 2009
This dude is good- I love "The Motions" it is such a powerful song and so true. It's worth picking up and adding to your collection! Seriously, if you just get the CD for that song you will be blessed (although you will be blessed from more than just that one song)

Love this cd | Posted September 03, 2009
My favorite song on this cd is definitely 'The Motions'!!!! It really how we get caught up in worldly things and just forget about God. This song is a great reminder that God is number one in our lifes.

Great | Posted August 30, 2009
A great CD! Great music, great message, and a great story behind the making and writing process! It's hard to believe that he could say a word just a few months before this was recorded!

Best Contemporary Album Since Mark Schultz in 2002 | Posted August 28, 2009
I love this CD. Now, I may be a little biased, because I have loved Matt since his first singles on the radio from and before "Happy". But, this album blew me away.
Being in an area of the country where there is no variety on the local Christian station(s), I believed that all contemporary CD's were the same. Cliche lyrics and almost vain music and messages. However, Mr. West turned my belief around and upside-down. From the opening track, I could tell this was different, and being a fan of alternative music, I was pleased with Mr. West's own spin on the genre! This was very exciting to me! I recommend downloading "The Motions", "You Are Everything" and "Something To Say". If you are not on a tight budget, just get the whole album! It rocks

Great Album! | Posted August 25, 2009
This is one of my favorite albums from a great artist. I've been to two of his concerts and he was great. The best songs from this newest album were Something to Say, You Are Everything, The Motions, and A Friend in the World, but all of them were great. If you've never listened to Matthew West before, then I'd encourage you to listen to and/or buy some of his music. He has great lyrics and awesome music!

Something to say is a fun song, my cousins sing along with it everytime they hear even a little piece of it.
