As the central theme of the Gospel message, this scripture is probably the best known passage. And this message is one that The Perrys share through every album and every concert. Putting this scripture into song feels familiar and comforting – something The Perrys also long for these days.
The Perrys have been fortunate to record many songs by the famed songstress Kyla Rowland. When Kyla passed away just a few weeks ago, it brought comfort to The Perrys that they had already received a song from their beautiful friend for this upcoming recording. It may well be the final new recording of a Kyla Rowland song. Also providing consistency for The Perrys is this recording of songs with themes of victory, encouragement, salvation, and redemption.
