"we need each other" | Posted February 06, 2008
In sanctus's third album they explode showing that they can still stay true to the styles of both "The face of love" and "fight the tide" and manage to create a more catchy and dynamic style at the same time...you have to hear this album to believe it ...this is candy for your ears, no question about it!!!

Stunning. | Posted February 06, 2008
Sanctus real continually catches me by surprise with their fresh lyrics and driving rhythms. I was absolutely touched by the album, more specifically the title track which got the water works going.

Not bad ... Better than I expected | Posted February 06, 2008
The first time I actually noticed Sanctus Real was when the "Face of Love" hit the radio waves. The melody soared on that song and I couldn't wait to hear what else they were made of. I remember listening and feeling disappointed that they didn't sound anything like their "Face of Love" single. So when I started listening to this one ... I figured another disappoint. Though their sound is still not what I am expected. The soaring melodies and lyrics calling for change and togetherness within the church ... definitely tilt the balance in their favor. Their album message is amazing and very true we need each other". It comes in the midst of the beginning of a new year where strife is very evident amongst congregations and life.

My favorites are: Whatever You're Doing & Lay Down My Guns, Half of Our Lives

I was amazed at the lyric in Eternal, though simple it caused me to stop what I was doing and listen. It compares the pitfalls of marriage with humans to the marriage of God. "And I could never lose Your love to sickness, oh I could never lose You to divorce, and there's no concept of abandonment, for I am safe within Your arms."

As the album begins to close ... the songs soften a bit, as if leading you to a quiet close. But SR surprises you with an upbeat song asking to leave a legacy more than just a fading thought ... but leaving those we touched with a fire in their own hearts that will continue even after we die. :)

Great concept guys!

The best get's better with age and practice | Posted February 06, 2008
its a simple philosophy people get better at their craft with time and practice, I remembered when SR came out with their first album it was amazing but the main thing is that they had talent and when talent ages and matures in the right direction they eventually get better, I don't want to compare them with anybody but I do know that one day they will be mainstream and may never come back to what you know as "A Christian" band its Its a simple process. but if you listen to their album YOU WILL NOT HERE A OVER PRODUCED PRE WRITTEN ALBUM see SR Writes all THEIR OWN MUSIC!! thats why their album is ONE and DONE

An Album of the Century!! | Posted February 05, 2008
Not only does Sanctus come through on the heavy expectations set for this CD they defy them! From the raw and genuine song lyrics in Lay Down My Guns and Whatever Youre Doing to the tangible music style in We Need Each Other and LEgacey this album is a must have and a sure HIT!! The boys' hearts shine through as they continue to hold true to the message and convictions that God has placed on them. This CD will be blessing hearts and bobbing heads for years to come. Love it love it love it love it!!

We NEEDED This Album!!! | Posted February 05, 2008
The "We Need Each Other" album is nothing short of brilliant!!! Every song is moving and is perfectly balanced. I think that this album surpasses all of the other albums...by far! Sanctus Real is one of the most progressive bands out there in the Christian music scene. You never know what they'll come up with next and the anticipation that comes with every album release is so great. I hope that everyone enjoys this album as much as I have. BRAVO SANCTUS REAL!!! BRAVO!!!

Beyond words | Posted February 05, 2008
I loved the new CD. the lyrics spoke to my heart, I am SO excited that they just declared the Lord and didn't try to have a hidden message, if you love the Father Just say it. He is our Daddy and he restores. I feel like this CD is going to be a tool is restoring the heart of those who have felt lost. I am can not quite sum up this CD other than AMAZING and I am so happy that they have come out with a new one. They have always been a band who has a true message in there music and it blesses my and the Lord's Heart!!! BLESS YOU SR!!!
